When I lived in New York, there would be times that I was wandering around Central Park or Soho or just my neighborhood and suddenly be amazed, thinking “I actually LIVE here.” Those moments still stay with me, they made the tiny apartment with very little personal space worth it. They proved I was THERE and living a life I never imagined.
Today, I was driving around doing some errands when I was on a street lined with palm trees and I had that same moment. I LIVE WHERE I CAN SEE PAL M TREES WHENEVER I WANT. It’s a different kind of life than living in New York, but there are definitely some exciting things I could never have seen in New York. Now….if only the weather would get a bit warmer for the beach.
